Gabby Ogilvie

Starting out as a sales agent in Naracoorte, I joined Complete Real Estate as a leasing agent in 2016 before taking time out to start a family. As a long-standing staff member of Complete Real Estate, I bring a vast range of experience to the team.

Since returning to work; I offer support to our sales division including overseeing and completing all legislative documents and agency agreement renewals, agency subscriptions, marketing in the formation of promotion of our sales team, collecting reviews on Rate My Agent and Google, reporting when required and conducting market research.

During these tasks, my strong sales skills have proved invaluable with maintaining client relations with our vendors, purchasers and existing landlords.

My role also expands to company level where I am involved in company marketing, software and product research and implementing company procedures. With extensive knowledge in both residential divisions of the business, I am able to link the two together to create an all-round service for our clients.

Coming from a media background, before joining Complete Real Estate, has given me a strong set of skills in marketing. Known for my energy, drive and attention to every little detail, I enjoy nothing more than developing unique property sales campaigns.

A thorough grounding in Complete Real Estate’s property management division has given me invaluable insights into the real estate market in Mount Gambier. Having been involved in finding the ‘perfect match’ between property and tenants, I now work with our sales team to ascertain which prospective buyers will be most suited to a home.

Working alongside Complete Real Estate’s director Marika Hart and senior sales agent Kim Cawthorne in a supporting role, I manage all the initial contacts with buyers so the lead agents can focus on negotiations. Previously, I worked in local government, so I appreciate the importance of procedures and how they help us achieve the optimum result for clients.

Having grown up on a farm, I understand the meaning of hard work! Clients often say I am down to earth and good at connecting with people from all walks of life. Meeting people and taking the time to understand their needs is the most enjoyable part of my role. Listening is very important and I care about what people are looking for – it makes creating a relationship and finding solutions a lot easier.

In Mount Gambier there are many young home-buyers and first-time investors, and as a first-home builder myself I am happy to share what I’m learning about securing land and designing a home.
